Hello, I'm Melissa!
Thank you for taking the time to visit my page. I was born in Elkhorn and raised in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. After graduating from Badger High School, I headed south to Barry University in Miami Shores, where I earned a double major in Business, worked on campus, and played on the Division II soccer team.

After college, I moved to Atlanta, began my career in technology sales, met my husband, and welcomed our first child. In 2023, we decided to move closer to my family and chose Waukesha as the place to put down roots and raise our now two boys. Although we live in the Rose Glen district, our oldest attends Bethesda Elementary and is part of the incredible Dual Language program.
My WHY
The recent Optimizing Our Future situation showed me how important it is to have diverse voices on the school board, voices that reflect and represent all children and families in the Waukesha School District.
I believe deeply in high-quality, accessible education for every student. My goal is to bring the determination I showed while working to help save Bethesda, our family's beloved school, into my role as a board member, advocating for transparency and ensuring that every decision puts students first.
